Our four key values

In keeping with the principles of health, fairness, ecology and precaution underpinning organic farming, our business activities and our growth are based on four key values:

An enterprising spirit, demonstrated on a daily basis in our efforts to seek out new varieties of organic fruit and vegetables adapted to the farms and to the expectations of our consumers. This also includes the creation and expansion of production chains in new regions.

Responsibility, as illustrated by the strict organic quality control procedures applied to fruit and vegetables, and through our commitment to market the harvests of our farmers not to mention an ongoing commitment to improving the working conditions of our employees.

Respect, amply demonstrated by our choice of organic farming. This includes respect for the life-giving land and for the people who farm it, but also for their traditions, including for example the preservation of food crops in Africa.

Diversity, a key value of organic farming everywhere, which encourages the preservation of a vital natural balance. This can be seen in our product range, our staff profiles and the location and structure of the farms with which we deal, not to mention the sheer variety of our clients!

Pineapples from Togo

Based in Togo since 2005, ProNatura West Africa organises the production of organic pineapples grown by more than 350 farmers operating via 35 agricultural groups. As a flagship project proudly displaying the group's values, it seeks to transform the growing of food crops (which were sold in the local market at very low prices) into an export activity achieving higher prices and generating the income these farmers need to really be able to expand.
