ProNatura Bretagne (Brittany)

From its site in Plouha, in the Côtes d'Armor area, ProNatura Bretagne (formerly Maraîchers Bretons) organises the production of organic vegetables, carried out for us by our Breton farming partners. Each year, we market almost 5 000 tonnes of cauliflowers, artichokes, lamb’s lettuce and carrots, etc.

Our know-how

By its very nature, organic farming is a long-term activity. The time required to convert land from "conventional" farming over to "organic" farming (at least three years), to learn and master these highly specialised agricultural techniques (abandoning the use of all chemical products), but also to adapt to more erratic production characteristics (due for example to the fact that plant health treatments cannot be used during bouts of mildew) all mean that real development requires a commitment of at least several years.
