More than just a set of rules, organic farming represents a unique relationship between man and his natural and social environment. By marketing organic fruit and vegetables, we are committed to contributing to the growth of this production method including all of its human, ecological and economic aspects, in order to :

Our ecological footprint

In order to reduce the impact upon the environment caused by the transportation of our products we encourage solutions aimed at limiting "Food Miles" (the number of miles covered by a product before arriving at the consumer's table).

With this in mind, very early on we decided to limit the use of air transport to only a few exotic fruit varieties which would simply not be available otherwise, and for which we continue to seek new solutions:

- The unique Madagascar lychee, which cannot survive the travel times by sea, unlike the conventional lychee which undergoes several treatments using sulphur.

- Wild mango, passion fruit, papaya and pineapple from the Cameroon, the income from which is vital for the local producers.

Logo-food-milesFor all of the other products in our range, we seek to use the best adapted transport solution. As such, an increasing percentage of our volume is now shipped by boat to the main European ports.
