Fruit and vegetables from Spain
Aledo grapes, carrots, citrus fruit, avocados, red fruit, cabbages, "ratatouille" vegetables and early fruit and vegetables account for much of the product range produced by this production chain.
The result of a 20-year partnership between ProNatura Méditerranée (formerly Bioprim) and the Spanish farmers, it is run from Alicante by an agricultural engineer who handles the monitoring and tracking of crops and provides technical advice to 130 market gardeners and fruit farmers. In 2007, it supplied more than 6000 tonnes of fruit and vegetables.
