Bananas are among our star products. This success is chiefly due to the creation of a banana ripening section in 2001, in the warehouse at Cavaillon (France). The 5 ripening chambers at ProNatura Provence enable us to ripen more than 3000 tonnes of bananas per year and to offer our clients (whether retailers, market traders or supermarkets) high-quality fruit ripened specifically to meet their needs. This ripening department is the only one of its kind in France exclusively devoted to organic bananas.

Packing and packaging

On the supermarket store shelves, organic fruit and vegetables are required to coexist alongside conventional greengrocery products. This is why these products are today packed in order to guarantee their organic quality for consumers. In order to limit the ecological and economic impact of packing and packaging as far as possible, we work with our commercial partners and suppliers to find the most realistic, sustainable solutions.

As soon as they are prepared, the orders from our clients in the mass retail sector are inspected and then collected by hauliers in order to have them delivered as quickly as possible and under optimal conditions from the ProNatura Provence site.
